「蔵前」の名前は、江戸時代に御米蔵があったことに由来しています。そんな「蔵前」から、日本の代表的な食材「米と茶」を使って、日本の食文化とモダンなカリフォルニア料理を融合し、グルテンフリー、ベジタリアン、ヴィーガン、フレキシタリアン、ハラルなど、様々な食文化をもつ多様な人たちが一堂に集える場所にしたいと考え、人にも地球にも出来る限り優しい食材や調理方法を選択し、テーブルに幸せを届けます。食を通して日本文化や伝統など素晴らしさを発信していく場所に。

We from Thrival Inc. are happy to announce that we are opening a sustainable cafe/restaurant in Kuramae, Tokyo, designed by Japanese architect Kuma Keigo.
Since 2019, according to our philosophy “to create a sustainable society through education and information,” Thrival Inc. has been running the lifestyle brand S.. The goal of S. is to reduce single-use plastic from your everyday life.
Full of stylish cafes and little shops, but maintaining that nostalgic Japanese downtown-atmosphere, Kuramae is also known as the Japanese Brooklyn. Located close to Asakusa, it displays an innovative mixure of Japanese traditional and modern culture. The name Kuramae originates from the Edo period, where it was known for its rice brewery.
Embracing the Japanese food culture, rice and tea, we introduce you foods that is a fusion of Japanese and a modern Californian kitchen. Our food are gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, flexitarian, and halal, so that customers with different dietary requirements can enjoy their meal together. We would like to deliver happiness to our tables through ingredients and cooking methods that are as beneficial as possible for both our planet and our health.
“A place that broadcasts Japanese culture and traditions and creates a more sustainable society through food.” With these goals, we would like to take a step further towards spreading a sustainable lifestyle throughout the world.
